Public Transportation

The WAVE transportation system consists of three main routes that connect the cities of South Padre Island, Port Isabel, and Laguna Heights together. These routes were developed to provide free transportation to the greatest number of work, play, and essential needs areas.

The WAVE transportation system operates daily except on major holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. The WAVE serves its customer from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
